February 14th, the day for lovers. Valentine’s day. The most romantic day of the year. Guess how romantic my husband and I are? Instead of going on for dinner somewhere fancy, or showering each other with gifts to show our love, we decided to get a home security system instead. What could be more romantic? Nothing says I love you more than an alarm system. Ha! I know I’m being tongue in cheek, but I actually mean it. We are really practical people, and we really don’t like to collect material things that we don’t really need anyway. So, getting a home system installed is something that is right our up our alley. We love it, and love the security it gives us, especially at night. We are both pretty cautious people, who put safety very high on our list of priorities. I am proud of that, actually. The world is full of people who couldn’t care less, and take chances right and left. A little caution is invaluable these days. Better safe than sorry.
